We are delighted with our new garage door! We were ready to replace our basic builder-grade door. GR8 responded almost immediately to our request for information. Shalom came out, took measurements, and talked us through options. Although it would have been easy for him to talk us into replacing our existing 1.5 year-old garage door opener, he assured us that it was up to the task for our new door and that there was no need to replace it. We received a quote that was significantly less than another we had received from a competitor.    Once ordered, we received a text update that our door was in production, and another that new door was ready (in the expected timeframe). The installers arrived exactly in the middle of the 2-hour scheduled window. The installation went smoothly and was very clean. The installers went over our new door with us, and made sure it was working properly before they left. We got a follow up message from Shalom to ensure we were happy. GR8 was highly recommended to us by a neighbor . Gabriel came for a service call as out regular company of 30 years went out of business. Gabriel came  on time &  even called to say he was on the way. Sure appreciated that extra  step. The service call held no surprises as the work and quote was as we were told on the phone when we made the appointment. It was all completed in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the work . Gr8 Garage Door replaced my garage door openers a year or two ago (the old ones lasted 25 years!).  The sensor allowing one of the doors to close got out of sync with its reflector.  That door wouldn't close.  I played with the sensor to no avail;  I didn't know what to do.    I called Gr8 Garage Door, and Gabriel got back to me in a few minutes (Gabriel installed the openers).  He told me that the fix was easy, and then he told me how to do it without his making a service call.  His advice worked perfectly.  The garage door now closes just as it is supposed to do.  This is probably the first time that a service provider gave me the tools to do a simple job without him, when he could have stopped by for five minutes and made some easy money. Twice now, GR8 have repaired aspects of our substantial double wooden garage door (once replacing the springs, once replacing the motor and tracks). I have appreciated Owen's clear communication, competence in engineering, and flexibility handling my odd requests.  The work always appears carefully completed, beautifully functional, and the space is left impeccable. One of the springs on my garage door broke this morning GR8 garage door was able to provide Fast Same day service.  The technician called and let me know they were on their way. The cost was about what I expected to pay $1100 to have two medium duty springs installed, also two heavy duty drums and a couple of hinges. I choose to go with the medium springs and heavy duty drums, there were cheaper options and more expensive options.
