Our customer, Donna, wanted to sell her house and downsize, but knew she needed to improve the curb appeal before she put it on the market.
First impressions are everything, of course! Additionally, her garage door functioned poorly as well. The garage door openers were over 30 years old as were the garage doors.
In order to improve the value of her home, she needed to do the cosmetic and necessary repair work to get it all up to snuff.
Donna knew she would paint her home on the outside, so she decided on white Clopay garage doors in their T52 model. She wanted an affordable garage door that was also durable.
These doors offer a traditional raised panel style garage door.
She chose to have an upper panel with plain windows. The panels compliment all the other beautiful big windows on the front of her home.
Donna also needed to replace the old garage door openers, and selected LiftMaster’s 8065 1/2 HP chain drive openers. It’s a solid, durable garage door opener and great on the budget when fixing up your home to sell.
Once she painted the house a light grey, the garage doors really popped! Doesn’t it look great?!
The windows all compliment each other on the garage doors and the home. The house is sale ready!
